Experience

I got my first job when I was 13 at the local pool. I grew up life guarding, teaching swimming lessons and running camps. Through out highschool and college I was a nanny and tutor. After graduating from WWU I became a 1:1 para educator for a middle schooler. I was with the same kiddo for 4 years. I also assisted him during cross country and track. I worked at a behavioral school in Bellevue for 7 years as a behavior intervention specialist. I left the working world when my husband and I had our son Calvin in 2018 and the coop is my first job back after being home with my kiddos for 6 years.

About Me

I recently moved to the area and have been enjoying exploring the area. I love camping, going on long walks, cooking new recipes, and listening to my favorite music.

FUN FACts

I worked at the pacific science center 

I grew up in the house across the street from the preschool (I moved back to Camas 3 years ago). 

I went to the preschool as a youngster and had Mrs. Latanzie. 

I love all things Gilmore Girls 

I rewatch Anne of Green Gables and Pride and Prejudice every fall. 

I have a very large blended family (4 brothers and 2 sisters)

Before teaching at the Co-Op, I taught preschool in Vancouver & Ridgefield for 14 years, I ran a Childcare Center; with preschool and before and after care out of my home for 10 years.

About Me

I love spending time with my family; my husband and my two grown children.  I have 2 mixed chihuahua pups, Xena & Paisley, who love to go on adventures with my husband and me.

I am enjoying nature and all of its beauty!  My favorite ways to enjoy nature are hiking, exploring backroads in our Jeep, and all kinds of gardening (indoor & outdoor). 

If I am not enjoying nature, I am in my outdoor kitchen preserving our bounties from our yard or I am in my indoor kitchen cooking or baking something yummy!

I also enjoy sitting by the fire in our yard, watching the birds and taking in the beauty of my “sanctuary”.

About Me

Originally from the Seattle area, this is my 3rd year in the ‘couve and I’ve been loving it! I have two boys, Levi who is in Ms. Nancy’s 2’s class, and a 7 month old, Alden, who you might see around school from time to time. My family and I enjoy going to Sounders games, going for walks outside and finding new restaurants. This is my first year at the co-op both as a teacher and as a parent, and I’m so excited!

I love singing! I spent over a decade in choirs and musical groups growing up.
